What is the best way to increase traffic?
I've done the usual... posted updates on my facebook, and links on my blog. I've submitted my URL to google and a few others...
what is the #1 way you have found to drive traffic to your hubs?
Social Networking is the best way to increase the traffic of a website.
Use Twitter, Stumble Upon, Propeller etc.....
One of the best ways I've found as I point out on one of my hubs is to find some keywords about what you are writing about that have no competition. You can do this by using Google Keywords Tool and inverting the competition row by clicking on it. You will find keywords that only get between 1-1000 clicks per month, but have no competition. If you create a hub with those keywords you will rank well in Google. You can then link your other related hubs to that one. It works great and actually gives you ideas about other topics to write about.
I got this idea from a poorly named system called Google Traffic Pump which you can check out at my hub http://hubpages.com/hub/web-traffic-how-to-get. The link is in the 'related links' section at the bottom.
But Kavitamartin12 is equally as right -- social networking. You can't be a one trick pony in this world. Good luck!

Can anyone help me figure out how to best optimize my hubs? I have several that have scores of 90 and above but they hardly get any views...I'm not sure how I could improve that. Even ones that have been changed by Hubpages' editors still don't get much traffic. Is it just the titles that I should...

I'm increasingly coming to learn the importance of titles to make hubs searchable. But some of my hubs are still not doing well. Out of the following factors, what do you are the top three most important for hubs to get traffic and be successful? 1. Titles2. Keywords 3. Original content4. Topic5....

I plan on editing my existing hubs, the ones with high traffic to get them to rank even better for terms they already rank for, but not at #1 spot. I have a premium SEM rush account using which I can see what I am ranking for and what I can improve upon. I use this on my own website with a lot of...

In the few years that I have been on this site, I have heard that you can increase traffic by picking short titles. I have also read that you can get traffic by choosing a long title and including many search phrases in your title, and also by picking long titles that are specific for a...
