I am not sure why but I know we cant. We can change the title and form everything I have read on the subject the URL makes little difference where as the title makes all the difference.
If it is still really important to you you could always copy and paste to notebook or word then delete the original, give it a few days and republish it as a new hub with the URL you want.
I agree with Ohma you cannot change the URL once you have taken it, changing the name of your article is possible and the URL doesn't have too much of an impact. This is what I have noticed. If you are so keen, the only way out is to unpublish and republish under a different URL, but you may lose all the views and comments in the process. May not be a great option after all.
I notice that as well. I guess it is to prevent broken link once your article has been indexed by google search etc. You can just recreate the article and delete the old one.

How do you change the permalink on a hub article?Or would you have to unpublish the article, then re-publish it like a new one?

So...if I wanted to change the URL of a published article...is that impossible? Or can mods/editors do that? Can I do it? I changed my keywords that I wanted to target as I wrote the article and would like to add those to the URL. Thoughts?

Are we allowed to republish our articles elsewhere and keep the original hubs here in the mean time?
