Why do google ads appear not to be relevant to the hub topic or keywords?
I've noticed that the google ads that show up on my hubs (and other hubs too) appear not to be related to the keywords or the topic for that particular hub. Does anyone know why?
Sometimes relevant ads do not appear on newly published hubs because Adsense bot can take a few hours to crawl a hub and register its information. Once the bot knows the topic, relevant ads will be displayed.
On older hubs this can be due to advertisers bidding on wrong keywords. Some keywords cost less than others so advertisers advertise on cheaper keywords to cut costs without taking relevancy into consideration.
I know that Google has a large FAQ and help section on the adsense website. I remember seeing this question addressed there.
