Submitting to sites like Reddit? Is that seen as okay, both 'terms of service' wise (including for adsense) and ethically?
If you submit 10 - 15 links of other sites to reddit and then just one link to yours then ethically its alright.
Traffic from sites like reddit don't help increase your adsense earnings much.
Yeah I usually share my hubs and ask my friends if they liked them to bookmark them it is more sincere but more time consuming. I also do the 10 to 1 rule as well throughout 10 other bookmark sites as well but I have not seen much traffic from those sites from my own tested self promotion. So I would advise simply asking others to bookmark for you if you have a hub you really feel people will benefit from.
