One way to generate traffic is to be active in the community where you publish: ask and answer questions, leave good comments, work on your profile page...
For traffic outside the community, work on your keywords to improve your search results. Be active in other venues with the same idea or good links back to your profile and articles.
Write good articles, as content is king.
