Yes mark, It is absolutely WRONG to ask questions just to get accolades! When you have a question in your mind that is troubling you or that you can't understand then only you can ask questions. And that too senceable questions!
Seems like that's what a lot of people here are doing. I don't like it. Some people ask ten silly questions in a row. That's just wrong.
No, it isn't wrong, it doesn't break the rules, it's just incredibly pathetic to ask questions for the sake of acquiring a meaningless, electronic medal.
That's just human behaviour. However I do think it's a design flaw.. the accolades should only be given to promote good behaviour on HubPages and not to behaviour that can be gamed. For example, the accolade for answering questions is a good one because it benefits everyone.
