When I logged into my Google account and went to site diagnostics two of my sites were blocked....
The instructions to allow google to crawl these sites was: User-agent:Mediapartners-Google
Can anyone explain to me where I would paste these instructions?
I would really appreciate some help on this, thanks.
Have a look at what would be in the robots.txt file was not rows:
You allow/disallow search engines to crawl by pasting instructions in robots.txt file on server.
Connect to your website by ftp and locate the file.
Modify instructions in that file to allow Google crawl.
Thankyou both for answering the question: my problem is both the sites are hubs here on hubpages. I have no idea why two are blocked, and where I would paste the instructions.
Any further help appreciated.
This happened to me once and people in the forum told me not to worry about the robots file and that it would fix itself, and it did.
