Mark, I wouldnt worry too much about it... these contests have nothing really to do with talent, it is more to do with how many people like you vs how many people hate you.  I don't like popularity contests - losing is so much more personal and heartbreaking, I would rather not participate at all.

In my instance, more people dislike me to such an extent that they would actually put themselves out to vote against me.  On the other hand, there are an awful lot of people who adore me.

Like me, you are one of those people that inspire a reaction of extremes.

Sueing?  Well, it certainly would be a first!

Why on earth would you want to sue? Why on earth am I answering this question? If you insult me for being harsh, can I sue you because my feelings are hurt? Can you sue me for being harsh? I guess I will never understand the mindset of a pro-suer - Personally I prefer, dust ya self off, pick ya self up and either give it another go, unless you really can’t handle the ego bashing, then stop putting yourself in a situation that hurts your fragile ego. Now there is nothing wrong with a fragile ego (how do you know you have one, well that’s easy, you don’t like what I am saying and if you are hating me, then my gosh you have an ego made from very thin low grade china) - another solution is toughen up prince and smile at the criticism and use it to make yourself a better person - Anyway relax don't take it personally and keeping smiling, keep on trying.

LOL, very funny!   By all means sue.   Sue all the people who did not vote for you.   Since no one  voted for you, then you can actually freely sue all hubbers.   You can just go to Hop some Hubs and make a list of hubs you hop to and then name them in the lawsuit.  I was only nominated for one hubnugget, I am going to sue,  because obviously they have chosen favorites and nominate some people more than once.  That is wrong.    Hahaha!

Who are you going to sue? It's your fellow Hub writers who vote for the winner.

Hey mark my friend, You don't need to go and sue anybody. At least be happy that you have come second from last. Maybe next time you might do better?
I did not sue anybody when i was nominated because in last weeks hubnuggets winners for the first time i won with 19% of votes and i was very happy.
Still mark, It's better to come second than loosing. Be happy with what you have and don't blame anybody because you came second from last. Be happy, forget everything and look forward for a better tommorow.

I doubt it.  Good luck with that though.  I doubt I've ever been nominated for anything, so maybe I ought to check your work out!

Thanks for your answers guys.. that was fun.

Wesman - you can check it out but you will probably be disappointed.

I'll close this question now in case it becomes a conversation and gets pulled.
