How many hubs did you publish before you had a click on one of your Google ads?
As far as I remember one. But I wrote my three hubs in a period of two months and was constantly promoting them. Only then I continued writing other hubs. Most of traffic would come from links. Now I am trying to write more and promote less.

Not a big deal, if it occurs sparingly. You won't get credit for it, normally.
I got clicks on my first hub but i suppose it depends on what your hubs are about and how much traffic you are generating.
