If I go to one of my fellow huber's articles and see an ad I'm interrested in is it ok to click it? or is it only not ok to click your own (duh).. I ask because I dont completely know the rules about this toher than dont click your own (duh).. but I was reading a fans hub and saw a link I wanted to click then I got parinoid and thought.. nahhhhh why risk it.. so I thought I'd ask.. just to be safe..
Jerrico
Relax Jerrico,
You can click any ads except for the ones on your own pages - hubs, profile, and any lists that include your hubs.
Happened to me just the other day. 10 page views and 20 clicks on one hub . LOL
earnings - $0.00
As far as I understand Google could even ban you if there are suspicious clicks.
There is not much I can do if someone clicks all over the ads on my hub. I am also 100% certain google knows exactly who did the clicking and from where.
yep hence clicking an ad and never really staying around long enough to read the page you land on? hehe.. be careful..
No sweat. Of course, now I look like a complete moron changing the thread like that.
That's good to know. Of course if you really want to mess with me, you and Misha should delete and it will look like I'm talking to myself.
Are you talking to me? Or are you still talking to you?
I´ve never think about this in fact I never click on google ads.
I promise that if you click in my hubs ads I´ll click on your´s! lol
Just kidding! But I´ll start to click from now on. ;-)
Forums are funny I am an original Internet Marketing Warrior 1998.
They used to pummel the crap out of us in the beginning.
We knew very little about the web .
Its tough for the hypocrite's and the people who think they are not dicks
to hide on the forums.
Just my opinion be careful what you post around here funride
Even if you think you are helping people.
Lots of people are ego driven with under lying motives and have deep issues.
What can you say about some people claiming to be experts on some of the hub profiles? words almost fail me ;-) You get the drift.
Fun Ride Your the Man!!!
Click Away Dude!
Lmao i love this thread...
I click on many ads mostly my fans articles;) because i always want to no more info! i do hope this is ok...
Clickety Click-Barba Trick:)
As long as you stay on top of your clicks and report anything suspicious, Google will not penalize you. And in most cases they can track down the person clicking and ban them instead.
Google easily detects click bombs and I guess they know that we aren't that stupid to sit around and click own ads all day so I don't consider reporting such unusual clicks which google automatically penalizes by 0.00$
Actually, according to Google, they only look for multiple clicks from the same source. I click on ads on my own site occasionally, if it's something I'm interested in. I don't care if I get paid for it. As long as I'm not going to my site and clicking every day 100 times, I don't think Google really cares. It wouldn't make you show up on the radar.
I try to find something of interest to click on when I visit a hub. After all, we are all hoping to make a little money from these hubs, however; I don't click on ads just to be clicking.

I got into an interesting discussion on another thread, and thought it would make a good thread itself. The question of the day is how do you feel about other hubbers clicking on an ad in your hubs?Personally I really don't see a problem with it as long as the ad interests them from a good quality...

Is it OK to click on ads of interest of other hubbers. I have never done that before because I'm afraid of being penalized by google since I have a google adsence account. Today I saw a great ad on someones hub for a free coupon offer for Tide Pods but was afraid to click on it.Thanks,Creativelycc

Here's something for you guys to consider, and I am simply reiterating a comment I made on another post. You need organic traffic to your Hubs! Why? If you are using adsense, or any other monetization method on Hubpages, you will not, I repeat, you will NOT get credit for clicks on your ads from...

I have seen mixed messages as to whether or not this is legal. Please help me sort this out. Thanks.

First off, I reached 1/2 of my payout today, so that is very exciting! Thank you all for the advice so far, but I am in need of more. I am a little concerned, because I earned from two clicks this morning from a very low traffic hub. I thought that was really weird when I saw how much I had earned...
