    You are doing yourself no favor by obsessing on hubber score and hub scores (two different things, BTW). They are much less important than you think.
    If you really want to help yourself in all ways -- Write Some Hubs!
    Make them interesting + informative and on subjects people are searching for.

    The hubber's score depends on a lot of different factors. If you stop following others it may or may not affect the score.
