What is a high search volume?
How do you define a high search volume (in numbers)?
It's subjective -- for some people it's 200 searches a month, while others won't touch it for less than 5,000. Personally, for me it depends on the search volume as well as the quality of the competitors -- 200 searches where I can easily get first in the SERPs is a lot more valuable to me than 200,000 where I get buried. I generally avoid relying on anything that I can't at least get into the top five returns in the results, though each space down increases the number of monthly searches the term has to have before I'll bother.
High search volumes means a keyword getting which is searched by many people. Keywords like weight loss, football, hair loss are high search volume keywords,They are attracting around 1 million visitors per month.
I think it depends on the type of person. A high search volume could be 500 or 5000, but it could also be 500,000.

I was deciding on revamping my Oil Shale hub. When looking through the Google Keywords Tool, I had found that A LOT of the keywords I would LIKE to use are mostly Medium to High Completion.Usual because the generic term "oil companies" ranks LOW, with 1.2 million in searches a...

I'm having an issue deciding what keywords to go after. Most of the lower competition words I'm not as interested in and it takes me longer to write since I'm not enjoying. But, most of the things I'm very interested in are harder to rank for but I can pump out hubs on those subjust easily. So, do...

I recently started using Jaaxy, and I love it. A hub is first on page 1 with my keywords, beating two medical sites. Jaaxy is so easy to use, but I no longer can use it free, so will have to pay. It does a simple analysis to figure if you have a chance with your keywords to beat other sites.

I joined hubpages one month ago and started writing hubs on weekends because I am very busy on working days. I have published 12-13 hubs right now and they are featured (12 of them while the 13th is still under review). Though my score on each hub is above 50 but I am seeing no traffic coming on my...
