    Trying to understand Hub rating.

    My latest post received the most first day hits ever, yet it was the lowest rated ever. Any input would be heplful.

    All hubs usually start with a score of 50. If you publish your hub in one day it will not get a big score at once. It takes time for a hubscore to increase, which includes a lot of factors: visits, vote ups and etc. However, if you save your hub url and do not publish your hub immediately, but write it and save it for a few days, your hubscore of that hub which is not published yet will start increasing. If that bothers you, you can save a hub url and title and work a little with that hub before publishing. You can actually reach a hubscore of 70 or even more before the hub is published.
    I do not care much about it. I do it all at once. Write my hub on Word and then copy past business. But it is up to you. Do not try to manipulate the hubscore though. Hubpages do not like that. Hope that helped.

    Thanks for your input. Like you I write my Hub on Word, review it, then post it. I found it interesting that even though I had the most hits ever it rated poorly. Thought maybe I didn't do a good job writing it, or the way I presented it. But if all Hubs start at 50, I should be happy.
