Is Kontera "worth" enabling on my hubs?

I am thinking of enabling Kontera on my hubs, but was told that it doesn't generate a lot of revenue. Do I have to have a lot of hubs before it is worth my while?

I am wondering the same thing.  I'm new with 17 hubs, average a new one every one to two days.  What I don't get is HOW to Kontera on my hubs.  I tried posting the HTML on each hub but got an error message.

Doubtful, I haven't heard of any experienced Hubber who says it's worth it. Many earn their money from AdSense, Amazon and possibly eBay.

I have over 300 hubs and have been here for three years -- and I think Kontera still isn't worth it. Unless they changed their policy about zeroing out any account under $5 at the end of the month, they're a complete rip-off. I also noticed that within 24 hours of disabling them on all of my hubs, Adsense went up appreciably so I suspect Google doesn't like it much either (considering they're not in competing ad space).

it doesn't hurt so i guess it is worth it. i have enabled it but i haven't made any money from it, then again i've only made 3 cents between adsense and amazon so what do i know.

I guess if it is that easy to setup and let it run then why not have it enabled.  It' not costing you anything.  I have it enabled on my hubs.  But have not checked my income on Kontera for a while, in comparison to Adsense, i'd say it takes longer to start earning and you need more churn.

No i would suggest that you dont enable Kontera on your hubs. I had started earning quite a lot through Adsense when i decided to give Kontera a try to. My Adsense money immediately went down and i certainly was not making up for my losses with Kontera. I find Kontera confusing as one day i would have been paid 3p for 2 clicks and another day i would have 14 clicks and only earn 1p. How do they work it out? i certainly have no idea but what i do know is that as soon as i disabled Kontera on all my hubs my Adsense money went back up.

I never tried it because I don't think it is worth it.   You may think "no harm in trying".  But the thing is that the Kontra links makes for a less user-friendly reading environment.  Some readers don't like Hubs with those links in the content.  Plus you don't have control over which link they place it on and what ads.

Personally, I hate trying to read articles with Kontera, whether on HP or any other site. I figure if I dislike them that much, myself, it  is a good bet some of my readers will feel the same.

i dont know actually...i also started it recently and i hope it work well as i am not able to get through adsense registration process as it is not not accepting my hubpages profile page as a website.

I have had it enabled on mine for the past year and not seen one red cent from it.  Apparently I am not reaching the "threshold" of their values in order to earn. WB

if you compare kontera to adsense ya it gives very less. But think what it takes i got $6 everyday on adsense and $2/ week on kontera then after it is ok with me.
