Your own hub visits count on your own hub views. So if you worked on the hub twice or went back and looked at it, you'll see it had two views.
This could also be hubpages staff, I think they start reading before you publish.
I've had as many as 11 views before publishing a hub.. and they weren't all my views, so I'm thinking Weddingplanner may be right.
It is a curious thing!

How does my unpublished hub have 2 page views?I'm freaking out! I'm not ready to publish it, I need to edit, and I'm not even 100% sure I want to make it a hub! Who looked at it?

I know that our own views are counted on the stats page but I have not opened this hub to edit it today and yet I can see that I have had four visits!

After 6 months on the site i've started the really wonder how many backlinks is a reasonable number to any hub, and really to a hub becoming successful? Or is it simply a lottery.What kind of figures do other hubbers consider?
