How is StumbleUpon effective in promoting your hubs?
I have opened a stumble upon account, but all the hubs that I have shared on the site only have 1 view. I am not sure if I understand how this works. Do I need to be friends with Stumblers for it to serve any purpose?
I have had a few viewers from stumbleupon but loads more from Kooday as well as earning $50-$100 each week with keywords, profit share etc. Did a hub on it !
If you are lucky enough to get a bunch of hits of Stumbleupon the chances of it being quality traffic is pretty darn low. By quality I mean the type that will click on ads. I think the reason is that most people are sheep and they will just click on something whether interested or not because other people did. As the number of Stumbleupon clicks go up more people follow along. A great example is an article I wrote that ranks an "A" for SEOMOZ a leading SEO website got 298 Stumbles, but not a single click though it's a quality article about a highly sought after product. So I'm starting to become a believer like many that it's a waste of time.
stumble upon can help you to gain more page views, it can boost your traffic for a period of time, and more traffic means there are more chances that you can earn money from your ppc advertisement or products which you are promoting

I was wondering how often a hub should be social bookmarked and if my internet history is deleted i do not know which hubs I bookmarked. I don't want to be considered a spammer. How many hubs do you guys bookmark at a given time and do you usually bookmark the low traffic or high or?

IzzyM and I have been chatting about backlinking, and disagreeing on what's the best way to go about it. She's been spending hours backlinking her Hubs on social bookmarking and backlinking sites, because she feels that's been recommended on the forums by Hub gurus. I'm not at all sure that's...

Does anyone post their sites on Stumbleupon? I started doing so earlier this week, and immediately started getting awesome traffic at a few of my underperforming hubs. Now, for the past few days, as I've tried to add additional hub pages there, they won't go through. I enter all the information and...

One of my hubs recently got a small flurry of hits from stumbleupon.com. Can someone tell me how and why that occurred on that hub -- and not on any other? Are you supposed to be signed up such groups to draw their readers?

I've been getting some traffic from SheToldMe lately, but I'm not a member (have been meaning to sign up, but haven't got around to it yet). So someone else is bookmarking some of my hubs there to make a buck for themselves. Kind of weird no? Does anyone else have that? And what should I do about...
