How can someone directly respond to a comment made on their hub?
You will have to forgive me. I am new at social websites. I've never done anything like this before and I've only been on this one for a couple of days. By the way, thank you for your comment.
Well, this is not a social website, it is a site for writers.
That being said, you reply to comments by posting your own comment. People will be emailed when you add a comment.

Do you reply back to each person who leaves a comment on your hubs?Please explain the reason why you do or do not. I am wondering if I need to do this or not since I have noticed that some folks do this pretty faithfully.

I was quite stunned a week or more ago when someone made a statement on one of my hubs that she had commented twice and I had snubbed her by not replying. Her comment had been particularly flattering, and probably because I've spent a lifetime being flattered by others only to find that they wanted...

If I view my account's Comments page, it's easy to view, approve and respond to unapproved comments. However, if I go to a new comment in one of my hubs and click Approve, I cannot reply to it directly on the comment. Instead, I have to go to my main Comments page and find the now approved comment...

I was able to respond to a couple of comments on my latest Hub, but now when I try, the page goes to only an ad: NO Hub.I still have about nine comments I need to respond to. Thanks.http://mary615.hubpages.com/hub/Grandma … hort-Story

Do you feel the need to respond to everyone who comments on one of your hub?Do you feel the need to respond to every person who has commented on one of your hub? I feel that responding to people is polite but I'm curious if it is always expected or if there are times when it is either impractical...

When someone comments your hub, do you comment back?I have noticed people responding to commenters on their hubs by adding their own comment. I am just trying to get a feel for how common this practice is.
