How can I get followers here?
How can I have some followers here on HubPages? I need some followers because I don't know how it tastes when I have some followers The persons who will follow me will be also followed by me. It's not an exchange rather a form of expressing thanks....Waiting for your reply.
Start reading other peoples hubs, leaving comments, and then following the hubbers you like. Post questions like this and also frequent the forums. You will find that people will begin following you, especially if they enjoy one of your hubs.
Hello Ibrahim:
Basically you hit the nail on the head, when you said that if you follow someone, they will eventually follow you...that is hopefully! If you find an article or topics published by an author here on hubpages interesting, than you may want to follow that person and also comment on his or her hubs. However make sure that you do find their work interesting first, before following that person. the idea is to try to follow a person in hopes that they do initially follow you in turn, or sooner or later. Hope this info. help somewhat.

Also by answer questions on Answers section and on the forums. If your answers are good. Other will start reading your articles and may follow you.
1. Jump IN & submit at least one Hub. Start with one concerning an idea/concept/product/theme you get excited about. Don't yet worry about writing the "perfect" Hub. Do it. Do it now!
2. Search for & read Hubs from other writers that you like & enjoy reading. Focus, for now, on reading Hubs about the same or similar topics that you completed as your first Hub.
3. Comment on those Hubs, honestly.
4. Answer Questions & VOTE other responses up or down, again, honestly.
5. Make the effort to FOLLOW those Hubbers whose writing you like & can get excited about.
6. Feel confident that others, who share exciting topics, will want to follow YOU, as you are following them.
7. Acknowledge that people will probably not invest time nor effort to follow you just to be "nice" and/or "express thanks". Get over it.
8. Now, write another Hub. Do it now!
I go with all these answers. Remember that a follower is that. A follower so like FanYo said write a hub or two. I know it may be challenging, for me it is with my time frame, but I have some ideas written down, some I have mapped a strategy, and I study others success.
Just write some unique content, if people love hubs, they will follow you.
Write some hubs that people like, read hubs of your interest and write comments whenever it needs to, follow people you like their hubs, answer questions when available. And here I'm following you, and looking forwards to read more hubs from you:)
When I began Hubpages I slowly gained followers. I also chose to follow slowly, meaning I tried to follow what I am capable of reading and giving honest feedback to. I do not simply try following someone to get them to follow back. You will find that you will reap what you sow. There are plenty of great writers here to read works of and have you writings read from also.
In the meantime, I wouldn't be so concerned about what I could get from this writing community as much as how much I can give, learn, and share! That being said; someone once told me to be careful for what you ask for because you may just get it. Once you have it what will you do with it?
Take a few minutes every day to read others Hubs, then comment on any positive aspect of the Hub--find something nice to say and leave that comment. Keep going and pretty soon people will respond by reading your Hubs and so forth.
Post questions here and answer questions, pretty soon people get curious about you and read your Hubs etc.
Networking.
Besides writing quality, interesting content get involved with community.
Follow people that you find interesting and they will reciprocate. Also engage on the forums and leave good comments when you read other peoples hubs.
Join in on the forum reccommend another hubbers hub as well as the other good comments , tell friends off line your hub links for more readers etc

I've just reached a landmark of 100 followers (yay, me!), which might not seem like much, but it's built up pretty slowly over time, and I've made sure to interact with everyone I'm following regularly (106 now), checking out new hubs, etc. It made me consider an interesting question:How do...

Do people really read the hubs of people they follow? Is it just me but I tend not to follow too many hubbers because I would never have time to write if I read all the hubs they submit. Perhaps I’m being naive here … but it seems disrespectful to follow them and then not read their work. Do people...

I am still new to Hubpages and have been enjoying a rather successful start. Thank you to those who have voted my articles up and those few of you who have begun to follow me. But I have noticed one thing of late and maybe it is the way it goes but I think it is disrespectful. I have commented on a...

I presently follow 1,975 hub members. My followers are 1,436. I remember hearing something about it being best to unfollow those that are not active on your hubs or that hold no further interest for you.So, I've been doing this. My question is: Have I been mislead or am I...

On Hubpages, if someone follows you, do you have to follow them back as courtesy?I have noticed a lot of people that have followed me that don't leave any comments. I wonder if I should follow them back as courtesy or not? The ones that do leave comments when they follow me are the ones...
