Why is the "link suggestion" tool not responding?
Is anyone else having problems with the "link suggestion" tool? It will not suggest any links for me.
I used it this morning. I found it a little different. You go and highlight the word you want to make a link. It will then give you a list of links/Hubs that you can choose from to use. After you pick one the word you highlighted will become blue and a link.
Thanks for the suggestion BKAONE. I just upload a new hub & was able to use the technique to create links. It seems that it is an enhancement, and it works better than the old tool.
The old tool used to allow that too. Sometimes I would see it highlight one word, when I thought two would work better. So I would highlight the two myself and it would suggest links for the two, if it had them. Note, when I highlight words and no links show up, it tells me I need to write one.
It's because your karma is high now may be, when you have high hub karma rate they give you more space to select phrases you want to link to other hubs your self. Just highlight the phrases or words you'll find the same response as before "They'll give you suggestions"

You use to be able to highlight a word or two and get a drop down of related Hubs. That don't happen anymore for me. I might get one 'community' style link, but nothing like it use to be with 8 or 10 related hubs you could choose to link too. I just don't see the significance...

When I'm suggesting links within my hub, and I highlight a word to make a choice for a link, then finish and move on to the next word, I notice that another word I had just highlighted disappears. For every word that I finish highlighting as a link, a nearby linking word in my hub becomes unlnked...

We've realized for a while that with our existing tools it can be very time consuming to manage links across a large portfolio of hubs. Many Hubbers have tried to handle the interconnecting of related hubs using Link and RSS capsules. That works to an extent, but we feel that...

I find this is the same on all my computers and all my browsers. It is especially difficult for me to fix my broken links on Hubs because I can barely see the 'yellow' highlight to fix it. On some Hubs I cannot find any yellow-highlight whatsoever, and on others it takes me too much time and effort...

I don't work on my HubKarma much. I have used the linking tool but just don't think about doing it much. My HubKarma score is low. What do you do about it or do you even consider it.What's your experience with the linking recommendations regarding HubKarma? Thanks all for your...

It would be useful to have the ability to automatically delete all 'broken links'. While sometimes I like to visit indivudual hubs to check the link, in most cases I simply delete the offending link.....
