Why does Hubs say not to write personal stories yet gives high scores to hubs that are personal?
They tell you not to write hubs that are personal with rants and poetry but yet I find that those blogs get very high hub scores where as hubs that are helpful and useful and give actual real advice do not.
I agree. There seems to be some discrepancy with the terms and how the score is actually functioning. I think short stories and poems of a personal nature do indeed attract more readers, hence that must influence the hub score directly. Despite what Hubpages suggestion or terms regarding content - personal topics and rants do attract viewers so the hub scores must reflect this change.
this site is at the point where writing a hub has become a crap shoot. i rarely write any more because it seems that nothing makes sense on here, i just ask and answer questions for now.

What. Now What? is what I want to say. Sorry. I have transferred to HubPages from Squidoo. All my Hubs have received all the same visits pattern as they did on Squidoo. I did get an added boost of $ for being in Tier one there.I have optimized here and have some Hubs that have gone into the 90's...
