    Do you write personal stories that attain success on the Internet - a story with general appeal?

    It appears that general interest personal stories attained more success in the past. Now, the Internet overflows with sites and those type stories may not currently create interest or ever be on first page.

    Yes, but it's not the norm by any means. One of the first I wrote, a letter to my birth mother who I never knew, we hugely successful.

    No, because my life really isn't all that interesting. I write to teach people how to make something.

    Yes. I write personal stories about things in my life that can be helpful to others. It's not general interest, per sé, but solutions to various life's issues. I learn from many experiences, and hubs where I share that information get a good deal of Google traffic.

    Yes, medium success, hundreds of comments but I've written mostly light-hearted subjects.

    It is early days but my twin hub attracted a lot of comments quite quickly.
