Why does my unpublished hub have 10 views on it and the score started at 45...
The views are your's, from the computer(s) in which you have viewed it.
The score is due to your own Hub Karma and however long the Hub has been sitting there, unpublished.
It's hard to say exactly why it goes up or down, but I suspect that the topic may be less popular than say, "free mafia wars credits" or something like that. I believe it factors into the points.
I have been researching this for well over three months and it appears that HP gives each word in the tittle a score based on the key words rate of search.
If the title has common words the score is lower, if the title has uncommon words then the score is higher; it appears to be based solely on the competition of certain key words/search engine SEO. It also depends on how many hubs with similar key words/topic have been previously published.
After the hub is published, then the score fluctuates depending on the number of visitors plus the key words SEO.
Again this is based on my own research with my own titles.

I know that our own views are counted on the stats page but I have not opened this hub to edit it today and yet I can see that I have had four visits!

The question is why is it so slow moving up with its score? It has lots of comments!

Sometimes when I have ideas for hubs, I "start a hub" and sometimes finish it later or just let it sit there for a while. Maybe I should just write down my hub ideas instead. Does it hurt my hub scores or overall hubber score to have those unfinished hubs (often with just titles) sitting...

I thought I knew the answer to this question. But something interesting happened in the last week which I found it hard to explain. I'd be interested to hear opinions.I have a hub which is nine months old and had just reached 250-300 hits per day.I was experimenting to see how many tags I could use...
