Is the HubPages working w/ Amazon to resolve California affiliate program termination?
Probably not, no. As I understand it, Amazon terminated the affiliate program in California dur to changes in taxation laws which would require Amazon to pay sales tax on sales that come from affiliate links in the state.
This would leave Amazon paying twice for one sale (both affiliate commission and sales tax) as opposed to just shutting down the program in California, losing some sales but saving a lot of money in the long run.
