How do I get the products I want from Amazon put onto my hub?
Why is it when I try to pick specific items from Amazon to put on my Hub, it says that the url is not found when I copied and pasted it like it said, yet when I use their suggestions, it works?
I have never practiced this method of selecting ads but here is the link to the article in the Learning Center regarding Amazon: http://hubpages.com/learningcenter/amazon-capsule
I hope this helps!
I use the ISBN (book) or ASIN (product) in the "choose a specific product" option in the Amazon capsule instead of a url, and have never had a problem with it.
Thank you all for your help and I will follow your suggestions to see if it helps.

I understand the rationale for removing amazon capsules. I'm very careful not to include amazon capsules unless they are 100% relevant, and I can provide a personal opinion. I rarely do more than one per hub.HP is not only snipping amazon capsules on hubs for niche sites, but also just to have a...

I'm wondering if anyone can enlighten me on copyright and attribution issues with respect to products sold on Amazon. Why is it that excessive links to Amazon products seem to be permitted when they are added to the body of hub rather than as a Module on the side? In my naivety, I did not realise that this was permitted. Will these links survive when hubs are selected and moved to the niche sites?
