Seperate backlinks for every hub?
I was wondering that whether I need to backlink every hub of mine seperately or just the subdomain hubpages has assigned to me. I mean now I have a subdomain so is it like having a website and do I only need to backlink my subdomain only i.e. umarshehzad.hubpages.com??
Hubs need to be backlinked separately still. I'm not sure the best place to backlink them however, as some websites have changed their policies.
I seem to get more hub traffic if I back-link separately. If they go to my profile, it isn't promised that they'll check anything out.
but backlinking is for seo purposes. it is not similar to getting traffic on forums etc to derive traffic.
my advice is to backlink each hub separate and to write 2 support articles on different sites for each hub you write.
1 support article back links to your hub on X subject hub
support article 2 back link to the same x subject hub
both support articles must be closely related to your hub.
this is what I often do. I also ping all my hubs and interlink each hub with another hub that is related on subject
