impression refers to ad shown on your hub when a visitor comes to your page. It counts an unit as an impression.
A single page view is known as impression.
The views can be of hubs, or ads.
Clarification: That can't be right. For every 400 page views, I'm getting less than 100 impressions. And, zero ad clicks with adsense. So they can't be ad views.

Does HubPages count our own page views?It sometimes looks a bit suspicious when I have been editing a hub and immediately afterwards the stats show 1 page view where it had previously been zero.If this is the case I would like it to stop as it obviously gives us an inaccurate count.

I know there is some percentage of views that goes to HubPages, but can it really be 90 percent? That's about how many of mine they get. I've never cared much until now when I have a hub that is actually getting a good bit of traffic. The 90 percent rule is still holding. Yes, I am using AdSense...
