Why is it that when I publish a Hub I can't see it under the "Hubs" banner?
How does it work?
I publish a Hub, wait at least half an hour, look under "latest Hubs"..but I can't see my Hub?
I think it depends on just how many other hubs are being published at the same time. Sometimes mine are there right away and other times they aren't there for half a day. I finally quit looking for them right away!
I think you are talking about the http://maddot.hubpages.com/hubs/latest ........ On the profile page it is reflected right after the moment you publish the hub. But it does takes some time to appear in the latest section......Same for me and probably same for ever user.
I think it takes about a day to reflect, it just works like that.
Make sure you choose the "latest" option so that you can view the most recent hubs. You will probably find your hub there if it was posted within an hour or so. Otherwise, you can view it under your topic and then click latest and you will certainly find it there! (At least, I have been able to.)

If you are relatively new here and wish your new hubs to be read when first published, then don't publish on or near the weekend. There is a possibility they will never be seen on the "latest hubs" pages. This isn't very important if you have been here awhile and have...

What will make you want to flag a hub right away?

I was hub hopping and had to flag a few hubs for being substandard (word count). One hub had exactly 10 words and 2 photos. There should be a way the system prevents you from publishing a hub like that except if it's in the poetry section.

I am venturing out into the forums on a rare occasion to personally ask a question I haven't seen anyone from HP answer to anyone's satisfaction to this point. I've just noticed a hubber which only joined around 14 hours ago who had a hub published only 30 minutes or so ago. See it for...
