When leaving comments on hubs do you always vote up (or down) and click the appropriate buttons?
Sometimes I get a bit carried away with my comment and forget to click the buttons, especially when I am hub hopping - i.e. useful, funny, awesome, interesting, etc. I am trying hard now to remember to click on the appropriate buttons and bookmark those I am really interested in. Just wondered if other hubbers are doing the same.
I usually remember to click the buttons, but I do sometimes forget if I write a long comment. If I forget, I just go back later and click the up button and anything else I feel describes the hub. The best way to remember is to always vote before writing the comment, but of course, we all forget sometimes.
I do the exact same thing as you. Now, I've been trying to get in the habit of clicking those buttons before I leave the comment, like Jeannie said. It's funny to know I'm not the only one who gets into writing their comments and totally forgets.
So to answer your question: No, you are not alone on this one.
Most of the time I try to click the buttons first, but I agree with what the others have said so far. Sometimes I unintentionally forget.
if i like it hub then will click on one of them and give it a vote up... if i really like it then i'll share on facebook and googleplus too ... i've never voted anyone down though, if i don't like the hub i don't click.
I try to leave positive feedback everytime I comment. In turn I hope my fans do the same for me.
I do if I really enjoy the hub. If, for some reason, I do not like the hub, I just leave and do not comment or vote down. I don't want to discourage anyone who wants to write or wants to improve their writing.
The good comments and voting up means a lot to a good writer, so I try to do that. I know I appreciate it.

Just interested in how many of you just read a hub and dont leave a comment. For me if i read something I always leave a comment but by looing at my reads I can only assume loads read but dont leave a comment. What makes you leave a comment and what makes you not bother, just curious.

Do you think that too many people are just leaving generic comments?Do you think that too many people are just leaving generic comments, without actually reading your hub fully, in order to improve their score and level up the commentator accolade?

Why can't we have like buttons and reply buttons in the comments section of hubs?Sometimes, the readers of an article may like some of the comments on it offered by other readers and would want to like the comment or at other times may want to clarify some doubt or ambiguity of any commenter by...

Is there any way we can make the voting and feedback section of a hub easier to see? I am constantly forgetting to utilize this section after I leave a comment because it tends to blend right into the ads and capsules. And, since we are on the subject...can we also change the placement/look of the...

I have 36 views in 24 hours on one of my hubs 'aunt rosie a tragedy' there is a gap of 8 inches between the end of the hub and the comment box. I have not received 1 comment out of 36 views. It looks as though there is not a comment box present. How can I close this gap. Urgent Help Please. Graham.
