Why am I following a question I dint follow?
I think some time ago, I had to manually follow questions I answered...nowadays, I click on answer and am automatically following the question....or has it always been this way and I didn't notice before?
It is automatic. You can change it to unfollow. This box right here, just above the dark grey answer is a line with a check mark, follow this question. Uncheck it. You can also unfollow when you get answer alerts sent to you in the email too.
To change you default - go into your account under following and then questions and then mark the boxes appropriately.
I have submitted answers and after I submitted noted the box was checked. You can edit right away - just must be watching the screen.
PS I am turning off "follow this question" in the checked box.
If you answer in a question or post in forum, you will automatically follow the post. Unless, you'll uncheck the Follow This Question option. Hope this helps!
