Are Hubs exempt from FCC guidelines?
It is my understanding that blogs need to disclose when the writer can receive compensation for an item they are writing about. Since some of us list Amazon and ebay items that relate to our hub, are we suppose to disclose that in our hub, or is Hubpages categorized differently than a blog page?
Perhaps publishing on HubPages means we are all covered by a blanket statement about compensation for all content on this site? I would assume that is the case, or else the HupPages staff would require some sort of disclaimer on all hubs.
The hubs in HubPages are different from the HubPages' blogs. Eventhough some of us write for pleasure, it is a fact that when one joins the HubPages community, there is the potential of earning capabilities, specially when inciting Amazon and ebay items.
Regarding the FCC guidelines, all falls under it in a way that coincides with the agency's missions. The earning capacity will only be questioned by the FCC if the hub and blog violate regulations and/or guidelines on fairness, freedom and safety.

After all, what's to lose? It's not like you're going to miss any sales. As to what's to win, in borderline cases, a slightly-less commercial hub just might be enough for Google to become fond of it.What say you?
