I love writing so I've just started with hubpages so that I can write about my passions. Thing is, I would love to make some revenue but am as thick as a ditch when it comes to understanding it.
E.g. I have written a hub - set up the amazon thing but do the amazon ads just appear on my hub? Do they post ads on my hub based on the content I write? I really need the most basic advice or a link to where I can get very simple answers. Many thanks,
Start here, The HubPages Insider and you can find my other Hubs about making Hubs from links on that one.
And you can't paste Amazon Omakase codes into HubPages. You should really read the HubPages FAQ too. (it's the "help" button at the top of every page on the site.)
You are not an idiot I have joined as well and am trying to learn things.
Search the Help and also read the very many excellent Hubs that have been written on Amazon affiliates and the Forum threads on these topics.
Thanks will do. So what do I do when Amazon Omakase tells me to copy and paste a code into my website. What page/section on my hubpages can I do this? Thanks again
Go see darkside, he is the best idiot we have. real hubs on it with real answers too. cheers
Thanks so much one and all. That was soooooooooooooo helpful. I'll let you know when I make my first billion.

I just started hubbing and I was wondering if those who had been here a while could let me know what kind of results they have had with the referral program? Has anyone tried running advertisements with their hubpage url anywhere? What kind of results did that get? Thanks!
