Why was my hub tagged as commercial?
One of my recent hubs, titled Sleeping Dream is actually a poem, but I received a notice it was possibly commercial. So because I'm still trying to understand navigation of this site, I just went in and checked the box for commercial hub, not even knowing for sure if it was necessary to do so. Any help on this one? Anyone?
First of all, chill. Don't sweat about it. Let me explain to you.
Commercial means in the hub, there are a high chance that you are promoting something else. By saying this, it means that it could be promoting a website, product etc.
You can actually avoid that by reducing the links (if there is any) to 2 or less and not being too 'straight forward' when recommending something.
I hope this helps.
I just read your hub (lovely poem, btw) and can't figure out either why HP would call if "commercial." No links, nothing even remotely promotional about it. HP uses an automated system to flag hubs that may have broken its rules, so you might want to contact HP directly and ask why the hub was flagged. Hope this helps.
