Can I delete a hub and re-publish it on one of my other blogs?
Can any of you hubbers help in this matter? The FAQs are massive and I couldn't find an answer. If I delete a post here - can I publish it elsewhere? Any experiences? Thanks a mil
Yeah, You may. But before that make sure that your Article is not copied by anyone else. If someone has copied your Hub and you delete and re-publish it elsewhere, Your article would appear as duplicate content. Once deleted from here you would not be able to prove that your content was the original one and published much earlier than the copied one.
You have the copyright to your content. If you keep the hub published and post it elsewhere subsequently, it will not be penalized as duplicate content by HubPages. But you may get an alert to a possible copyright infringement by others against you, as HubPages will not examine who posted the duplicate.
Anamika S makes a good point: In that case, the hub could be left unpublished instead of deleting it, since that would retain proof of when the hub was first published.
Thank you very much for your tips. I decided to publish my recipes elsewhere... I like Hubpages and all but I find it quite a hassle at times unfortunately

Are we allowed to republish our articles elsewhere and keep the original hubs here in the mean time?

I know hubpages prohibits writers from having duplicate content. My problem is understanding what that exactly means. I heard from many that it means writers can't publish content here that already exists elsewhere, but can publish here first and then publish it elsewhere. My concern is if I were...

Got a bunch of duplicate content warnings and I am not sure if Hubpages found duplicate content in my Hubs or on the web. If Hubpages finds duplicate content, how hard is it for them to share with us where they found it and what exactly they found? It sure would save and lot of time and...
