What are the TOS towards links in hubs?
I have linked to a few sites in some of my posts relating to making money online. I was doing fine until recently when my hubs were taken down do to terms of service violations. The warning did not give me the specific problem but gave me a list of some that may be the problem. I believed it was due to linking to unauthorized sites, but they didn't have anything to do with hubpages and were just sites where you can make money.
None of the links were referral links although the sites had referral programs, I thought you were only not allowed to post referral links or sources that can increase
Its best to just not write about that topic anymore. its an over saturated topic in which there is lots of spam about, so I don't write about that or SEO anymore and I'm proud not to.
I think the topic 'make money online' in hubs, on hub pages, is a gray area.
Referral / affiliate links are generally prohibited on this site, unless you're splitting it with HP like with the Amazon / Adsense program. Generally, I believe.
Because of what I just mentioned I think hub pages is over rated.

Okay, I'm trying to figure this out. Is it advantageous to use a referral link in your own hubs when linking to other hubs of your own? I notice some people use them, but most don't. I mostly haven't, but I'm wondering if I should implement it since I'm planning on doing some more cross-linking...

Do you still put a tracker link in your hubs?In all of my hubs I have a link in a blue box with a referral tracker with a heading offering to sign up with Hubpages to write articles. Is this still a good idea for new hubs since all the changes?
