Is traffic got from StumbleUpon genuine?

I've heard from people saying that the rapid increase in traffic received when 'stumbled' can affect Adsense. Is this true? Have anyone experienced the same?

I'm not sure about the affect your talking about, but I do know that it is very unlikely that StumbleUpon traffic will click an Adsense ad.  If your hub has been stumbled it means someone felt it was worth sharing which is a very good thing.

StumbleUpon traffic comes rapidly and is very ineffective if your looking for ad clicks.  This means that your adsense stats could be affected in a negative way, but not so much that you should worried about it.

If someone has submitted you to StumbleUpon you should be happy, it means they thought your hub was worth something.

Hi kgala0405, thanks for your answer. I heard that stumbling lets you lose your adsense a/c as there are so many hits from automated machines and all of them are from the same country U.S. I got about 50 hits within a minute time when one of my articles was stumbled.

I just wanted to clarify if it can affect your Adsense a/c on the wrong side.

No it's not true.  It would only affect your Adsense account if the Stumblers clicked on your ads.
