What are the potential risks of monetizing questions on HubPages?
Something about this feels awkward, and I can't quite put my finger on it. I'm hoping for input from some of the smart people here.
I can see only one downside. Questions will become even more inane and idiotic than before. People would struggle with questions because they wanted awards...now they will be mass producing questions so they can earn some money.
It seems like the quest to monetize every keyword on the internet by encapsulating it in a question has already begun. Is there anything more dangerous than the intoxicating appeal of easy money?
Even the shortest hub requires a tad more effort than a question. I could come up with a hundred an hour and do that for eight hours a day for several days but I'm not sure how that would help anyone.
Prediction: the perfect spam storm.

Against my better judgment, I want to write a series of self-help articles, related to a recent experience I've had. The plan is eventually to turn this into a blog, but for the time being I'm writing on Hubpages. I realize that with the recent 'expert reviews' I'm putting myself at risk here, but...

Hi, I wonder why I am suddenly banned from answering questions. Is the ban permanent or temporary? I have written to the HubPages Team but I thought that I may be able to get a faster response here. Is there a guideline on how to answer questions? Honestly, I really don't know which rule I have...
