When I was young, maybe 1 out of 100 people were fat.
Today it is like they are everywhere present and the same with the children.
When I was in school decades ago, maybe 1 kid in the class was a chunky butt.
Maybe it's our lifestyle?
Maybe we are totally spoiled?
Maybe people are lazier today?
Maybe the food supply is way over processed?
Could it really be that we are to lazy to eat right and make good food at home and not buy all the processed food at the store?
Would we be fat if we bought different foods? Like more fresh produce? Whole grains?
How about not eating so many cooked foods?
But yeah, the walking / shuffling cottage cheese are everywhere it seems.
Many of them have a real feeling of entitlement too. Kind of obnoxious.
Any thoughts ?

Working Families in a rush, soccer practice, band practice, working late...rushing in the evening to get things done. Longer commutes, due to crowding.
Thus, its Easier to run the Kids to McDonalds then stop make a full diet meal, set the table and listen to the bitching! while your handing out time-outs!
So maybe because we are to busy we are fat / fatter / fattest ?
Instead of doing the right thing we seem to do the easy thing and pay later ?
Fast food places are required to have a "healthy diet menu" and you can eat a good meal there if you want to.....but that is the point........ "want to."
exactly my point, and how many will enforce things on a Child out in public, with all the Social Do-gooders interfearing and claiming Child abuse? Or go throough the embarrasment of a Child acting up when you Order what they should have, not the junk they really want!
Some Parents teach and lead by example, but more do not!
Very True, most do not read the lables, go to fresh vegitbles, and natural stuff, you are correct. I am guilty of that also.
Sometimes though it is the Money, cheeper to go 80/20 hamburger, then lean fresh chicken and fish! and healthier choices.

Lasagna without Ricotta?I didn't grow up eating lasagna, I always liked it, but our house was more of a ragu spaghetti type place. Now I'm married, and my husband says that he likes lasagna...but doesn't like ricotta cheese. Lasagna without ricotta is essentially just baked spaghetti. Are there...

Last summer, I was walking on the beach with my friend wearing blue jeans an all of a sudden I started itching like crazy. The itch was so horrible that I seriously wanted to just take off my pants right then and there and start scratching. We ran all the way back to the house and I locked myself...
