What is a good/average Convertion Rate on Amazon Affiliate Program?
I've started trying Amazon's Affiliate Program and wanted to know your experiences on it? Is it possible to make good money there? What about average convertion rates??
I have been using Amazon's Affiliate Program for about a year, and have made about $17. My conversion rate is below 5%. However, I haven't been writing Hubs with the intention of driving traffic to Amazon's Affiliate Program. It could work if you write product reviews Hubs and Hubs about hot items that are selling. One nice thing about Amazon's Affiliate Program is that anything a user buys within 24 hours of clicking your link, you get credit for. I have seen a couple of orders for multiple items, with only one related to my Hub.
conversion rate is really low as for all affiliate marketing. but its better to have such links than to have none at all and rely soley on adsense or other forms of online marketing

I'm seriously considering signing up for the Amazon Affiliate program. However, I live in Barbados, and the FAQs aren't really telling me anything. Have you found the program to be profitable? Also, do you have a problem collecting payments? Thanks!

Word is out... if you are a CA resident and have an Amazon associateship, you should be seeing an email very soon canceling said account. Amazon just sent out a press release,http://www.boingboing.net/2011/06/29/am … socia.html

I tried to add an amazon capsule to a hub the other day. Hm. No results. In fact, a search on "book" turned up no results. Very interesting. The hub tool must be broken.Later, I went to check on my Amazon earnings account and found that it had been closed. Just "closed". The...
