What is wrong with hubpages?
last week one of my hubs was removed for "unrelated advertising links." I did not have one link on that hub! I removed my Amazon ad. that was for a book about politics, and by hub was about politics and it was re-published. I added my Amazon again, and its been fine ever since. Now one of my hubs was removed for "explicit content", stating there is nudity, ect. Its a hub about WordPress! There is noting provocative! What could be provocative about WordPress!
I think I read somwhere that they are dealing with some kind of hack bug, maybe it is related to that
Very odd. Perhaps there is a bug in the system or the system has been hacked. I hope the later is not true.
I have noticed the right side of my pages dealing with recipes has disappeared (I have several pages like that). I just asked a question to see if others who have pages in the Food and Cooking category are seeing the same problem. I am also seeing the problem with two of my hubs that are in the technology category.
I have checked out other hubber pages in these categories and see the same problem. Thus, there is a system-wide screw-up in this sense, which I will report to hubpages.com/contact_us .

I'm very grateful for HubPages using the Google software which identifies which websites might be have been infected by possible malwareHowever, as has been previously noted with the respect to other link updates, the HubPages system seems to be very slow in recognising when such links are removedI...

What is wrong with Hubpages?I published a hub a few months ago without any problem and now it has been removed from publication because of "unrelated links." There are no unrelated links but I removed my Amazon capsule and links to other hubs on the same subject and now they are saying...

HP has always said do evergreen hubs. Politics is certainly not evergreen. it has a short "shelf-life" if it is about a current event. And since I would mostly write about U.S. politics, they might have very little appeal in other countries. I use my blogs to write about politics,...

Hi,Around a week ago, (could be longer, I don't always check), I noticed that my daily page view figures had suddenly plummeted from several hundred to just tens. Of course this could be explained away by an overnight drop in my hub popularity - except for the fact that I'm also getting...

Do you think its a good idea or bad idea to write about politics on HubPages?Politics, like religion, stirs up emotions in some people bringing out their, shall we say, darker qualities. Knowing this is it a good idea to rouse them with political hubs?

I've had a massive headache ever since reading about this Squidoo acquisition thing yesterday. I'm not even going to get into whether I think it is a good idea or not. It doesn't matter what I think. The deal is done so it's time to move forward, and as always I trust HP management to make the...
