What is webcrawler.com?
I saw Webcrawler.com in Google Analytics. Is it a search engine or webcrawler?
It's a search engine but it pulls search results from Google, Bing and Yahoo. I think, it doesn't have its own algorithm and database, it simply consolidate results from the big 3 search engines.
Similar site is dogpile.com

If I am getting traffic from dogpile but I have never listed anything with them, could I safely assume that this traffic is from some sort of backlink from someone else? I'm not real savvy in this traffic resource stuff...
