Are we allowed to ask for specific hubs from other hubbers?
For example if I'm writing a hub and want to link to another hub on the benefits of kids taking karate, can I just post to the feed and say, "Hey, I'm looking for a hub on the benefits of kids taking karate. Who has one?" Is that allowed? I know that I can do a search, but honestly I'd rather find active hubbers to link to.
Believe it or not, but when this section was first created several years ago, it was called "hub requests" and the concept was that you would ask a question, and people would write Hubs as the response.
Sadly it's morphed into a Yahoo answers knock-off over time.
I think you'd do better to search for the Hubs you want to reference, because many of the good writers avoid this section feeling it's full of too many banal questions. Thus, you'll never be told their Hubs even exist.

I have been hub hopping lately and I am disgusted with the incoherent garbage that I am coming across - nothing but poorly translated articles of about 400 words, usually without even any formatting. I would say that...

Do you have to ask permission to use someone's hub?If you find someone's hub very relevant to what you are writing about, do you need to ask their permission before posting a link to their hub?
