Can I hub about my website?
Can I write a hub about my website or would that be overly promotional?
I make jewellery, often with healing crystals so would I be allowed to write about a few pieces I have made on this basis? ie, with information about the particular stones properties
Writing about your website would clearly be overly-promotional. Writing articles that teach others to make jewelry would be the sort of content which has the potential to do well here.
As relache said, writing a hub about your website would be overly promotional. However, a good idea would be to write hubs similar to the content on your website and link back to your website if the reader wants to read more about the topic. It is almost like guest blogging on someones blog where you offer them content in exchange for a backlink to your site.
Thank you. I write jewellery making tutorials for magazines and have written a few here too, so will carry on doing so

Is there a balance of Amazon products on a page that makes a hub overly promotional? Or is it dependent on the individual hub (over and beyond the 50 words per product)?

My Take on Hub Pages. It's alright for them to take our content and just add whatever type of adds they want. Why? Because when someone reads ""our content"" and clicks on one of these adds, Hub Pages makes money. Yes you say, they share it with us. The Truth! Hub...

Do you often flag content on HubPages?I see a few hubs everyday that are in English, but poorly written. I hate to flag a hub if someone is just trying to start on HP, but I don't like reading poorly written hubs! What are your thoughts?
