Can you tell me how to put link to join hubpages in my profile page?
You need to navigate to 'My Profile'. Select 'Edit' Now write 'Join Hupages' in your Biography section. Highlight 'Hupages' and select 'Add Link' from the options panel. Now simply insert your referral link, save, and you are set to go
Your referral link will be in the following format - http://hubpages.com/(reftracker)/user/new
The (reftracker) in brackets is where you paste your 'referral tracker' code. This is located under 'My Account' / 'Earnings' / 'Referral Trackers'
1. Find your referral tracker: My Account | Earnings | Referral Trackers. If you haven't made your own, there will be a default Tracker there (random letters and numbers.) That's fine; you can use that one or make a new one. Doesn't matter.
2. Type whatever text you want to become your link. For example, Join Me On HubPages. Select that text (highlight it), and you'll notice the link button that looks like an infinity symbol. Click it.
3. Insert your link like this: hubpages.com/_YOURTRACKERHERE/user/new/
4. Don't forget to put the underscore "_" before your referral tracker.
5. Save (add link)
Thank you Faceless39, after trying unsuccessfully for 100 times with your detailed instructions i was finally able to put the join hubpages on my profile page.
No problem, I'm glad you got it working. It was confusing for me as well.. there's not much good information on how to do it.
