How does one get past "domain ownership" with Ad Sense?
I have applied several times to get Ad Sense and each time it says they won't accept my applications because I don't own the domain. The URL I'm giving them is ThompsonPen.Hubpages.com
Is this the wrong URL? Has any one else had this problem?
Yeah technically you don't own that domain, HP does.
The easiest way to get approved for adsense is to buy a domain name and install wordpress on it. Then build the site a little with some information and make it look nice.
Adsense will see that you know what you're doing and that your site complies with all their rules. Once this site is approved, you can add your adsense code to your HP account and other domains.
I have the same issue 2 years ago. What I did was go to their forum and ask assistance, and within few hours, I got approved.
Just make sure you are detailed in your post. Explain everything that need to be explained. These people don't like reading and doing some inquiries on you, so be detailed on what is your problem, and what have you done.
If you don't want to pay for your own domain, there is a site called "webnode" where you can create and design your own website for free.
