Should You Use Your URL Tracker when linking to another Hub within your Hub?

I was wondering whether it was against the HubPages rules or terms if you were to use your own tracker within your own Hub, to link to another person's Hub. So you're still linking to another user's Hub, but the actual link itself will be hosted on your Hub.

Yes. Although it is very easy to use the linking tool to go through your hubs and link to other hubs, it is much more beneficial to use your tracker. You get the benefit of seeing how many people click though to the other hub(s), plus,, the biggest bonus, you make money from them reading the other hub (not much, but still some) and if that person signs up for a Hubpages account, you will probably get 10% earnings from whatever they write. (unless they have already clicked someone else's tracker)

So it does take a bit of extra work, but there are several benefits which make it something good to get into the habit of doing. I know not all of my hubs have been properly linked to other hubs in this way, but sometimes when I don't feel like writing a new hub, I'll go back and edit one and put in the trackers.
