Why can't my photos be clicked on to make them larger? I seem to remember that it used to work and now it doesn't?
You used to be able to click a photo and pull up the original. Now they have switched to the slide show format. So what happens is that when you upload a photo, Hubpages makes two versions of it. One is for the hub and will be either 520 or 260 pixels wide, depending on if you are using it for the full hub width or half. The second copy is 1024 pixels wide that they use in the slideshow. If the uploaded original is smaller than 1024 pixels than they use the 520 or 260 pixel photo in the slideshow.
If you for instance click on a hub photo to save it, the file name will end with "_f520.jpg" or "_f260.jpg". A slideshow photo will end with "_f1024.jpg".
This is just based on my own observations. if I'm wrong, hopefully someone will correct me.

Sometimes people don't want to see the whole slide show.

I've been trying to upload a picture. It allows me to put in the url, but no picture appears after finished tag is seen.

The slideshow does not suit many hubs and the horrible black button ruins the first photo. Please allow authors to choose whether they want it or not. You get a slideshow with just 2 or 3 photos which is silly.

Isn't there someway to 'click to enlarge' an image? For instance, if you want to post an image of a chart that nobody can possibly read unless it's bigger, is there a way to do this? I thought about posting...

I noticed several hub pages that have slides in them. I don't see the facility for doing that unless you use the photo capsule somehow.

Hi everyone,Is there a recommended photo size that works best on the site? Also, I thought I read somewhere that there's a specific size that's good to use for the first photo that makes it Pinterest friendly. Thanks so...
