    Polls on Hubs?

Where to you usually place yours?

Have you noticed if placement effects participation in your polls.

I generally place mine on the right side just below the first photo.  You want it high enough that it gets attention early during the visit.  In my experience, participation is more affected by how concise the poll question and options are.

I usually place polls at the end of my hubs. I may change the placement because my readers do not seem interested in participating.

Tx TM. I hadn't used them before but revamped one of my hubs the other day and put one in so was curious about peoples experiences before i might add any more.

I just recently started putting polls in some of older "idle" hubs to see if it might jump start them. Each of them has picked up a couple of views since then so I guess it must be doing something.

As for the placement, I generally have been stickin 'em towards the end of the article. I figure that way the reader has made it all the way to the end and can make their decision based on the info in the Hub.

Tx for sharing your experience FFC. I was revamping one of my hubs when i thought to add a poll for the first time.

I put them close to the information that people are reading so that they can just click on the poll there and then.
I think this is the best placement. If they are at the end people may forget what they were thinking.

I normally place the polls at the end of my hubs. This way it gives the readers a chance to finish reading the hubs, and then make their choice in the poles. I've always enjoyed reading the results no matter how old the hub is. The pie chart has always been my favorite.

Thanks Goody! I too often check the results on polls even if it's not a poll i'm inclined to vote on.
