My hubs don't show up when I google them?
I tried to google some of my hubs they do not show up?
Could be that google hasn't "crawled" them yet. It's taken 3-4 weeks before for some hubs, unless you "fetch" them yourself.
According to what I have read, when your hubs are first published the google bot crawls them, finds the no-index tab (which means it is not able to be placed on search engines), and then does not come back for several weeks (maybe 3-4 as Novel Treasure indicates). Your early traffic will all come from Hubpages and you will not have traffic from search engines, nor will they show up on search engines, until about a month after you have published.
At one time I read that you could speed this up by pinging your hub. It does not appear to work.
Hello UsPlus, welcome to Hubpages.
As a new member who joined only 5 days ago, it's going to take a while before your hubs get indexed by Google and other search engines. Here is how it works.
First, your hubs don't open up to search engine crawlers until 24 hours after you hit the publish button. Hubpages does it like that to ensure that only quality hubs are sent out there. So there is a 24 hour delay.
Next. When your hubs are released and are able to be crawled by the search engines, some factors will determine how long before your hub shows up. As a new author, it may take a few weeks before your hub gets to be indexed where you can find it. The more you write and publish the faster your hubs get indexed after they are crawled because you are building your online presence.
A good way to prove to Google that you are a credible source is to implement the Google authorship on your profile, place a photo and do a little bio. That way Google sends you more traffic and you work gets indexed faster.
Don't worry, you are new so give it a few weeks and try again. You can also submit them manually to Google, Yahoo and Bing.

I thought if a hubpage was listed in Google search it was featured. But apparently that is not the truth. I guess I will keep the hubs up and run my own check on them.

Just wondering if it is spamming to submit your hubs to the same social networking sites more than once? For example, if you wait a week or so between and you are trying to get your hub more traffic can you submit it...
