After 5 months and 50 hubs, I have 9150 views. Is this average, or are my hubs not very interesting?

That is the equivalent to a mini boom. Aim for around 1 million hits per month and you may just get something of a living wage from your hubs. Good luck.

Okay, one million a month, lol, why not 5 million? Same feat!

Sounds good to me. Maybe you're just showing off? J/k. :p I have a total of 1600 views for all of my articles combined. So congratulations! Let me know what you're doing right.

Thanks for your answer Laura, no, I really  have no way to tell if it's good or not. I do spend a lot of time on hubpages, maybe all the hits are mine!

I would say for 5 months that is good. I have hubs that I wrote shortly after I joined hubpages that are just starting to get traffic right now. It can take time.

That sounds good to me -- better than my results, but it took a bit longer for me to get to 50 hubs. Looks like you have some good titles.

My 79, after 2.5 years, have only 19,500.

I think you'll do great, especially when your list of hubs reaches a certain "critical mass." Google says content is king (or queen), and you've got the content. Well done!

thanks Lone77star for taking the time to answer my question. I guess I'm doing okay, I appreciate your help. 79 hubs is awesome! I hope to reach that eventually.

You are doing great! I had to have double the Hubs to hit that 10,000 mark within 5 months, and you are going to do it with 50? Great job!!

Thanks J, I really thought my numbers were low, thank you so much for giving me hope! See you soon at your hubs!

Hello eHealer. How are you today? A bit of this and that could be said. Sitting here procrastinating making a Dr. Appt. I ponder. Seems that is amazing comparatively, yet wondering a secret shared is the unknown factor of those views not counted here.

I know of two hubs that were used in a classroom setting. That is guessing 30 x 2 = 60 and have no idea how many classes. I know of one for sure that Julie my therapist used with her groups. That is maybe another dozen or so x 3. Who knows how many sent to another here and there as an attachment to who knows who.

You are doing very well just seeing what you shared as a statistic or 'stat'. Giggling, what does 'stat' mean in the medical field? I laugh all the time when watching 'Mash' and 'Scrubs' when I hear them say 'stat.' Just what does that mean? In the vernacular I am familiar with that doesn't mean the same thing.

I see them react with this and that to a discernment of a conclusion stated as 'stat.' I know I'm wandering, pardon me, to me they are decreeing it fits the bill or a diagnosing statistic has been met. Didn't Hawkeye use that term a bunch. A signal that each person jump into action knowing and doing their specialty in immediacy? Hora, now, jump to, an action following a fact, usually research and flow charts and stuff like that, yet in the mind of those like that dude in the pic.

Sometimes one may have to ponder that gold vein. Is it the authors, the audience or the reader? Questions come to mind like how many minds have been inspired, influenced, offered direction, and felt your compassion and then that was shared.

I wonder how many from the University of Nevada, Reno in their Div. of Health Sciences or even Reynolds School of Journalism may have cited one of your articles with an online class. Or, wonderfully felt inspired when stumped needing a paper of their own for a class and perused Hubpages author eHealer and a light bulb went off

I get so angry at times at those worker bees stealing the pollen from the many flowers blooming here at hubpages & then spreading it about freely. Those darn butterflies and their teeny legs. Landing on a pod or two and then flutter to a garden down the block pollinating another bud.

You never know when an article may go viral, internally within a corporate structure or otherwise as printed - not an internet view. What is compared, to whom asked, why while remembering the how, yet when has more to do with the equation than most think; tomorrow?

Hubs need to "age" for about 6 months to be found by Google.  I started Hubpages in May 2011, and got my first payout in Nov. last year.  Every month with after that I've gotten a payout.  Stick with what you are learning in the apprentice program and you will get a steady, though not huge income.  I'm not sure what my views were after 5 months, but after 18 months or so with 240 Hubs (which you should get to at the rate you are going) I have over 1,000 hits a day--actually with the boom right now after Thanksgiving it is up to 3,000, but I don't think it will last long.  What does the best on my Hubs are my Hubs on How to Write essays--that is an area where I am an "expert" since I've taught essay writing in college for 20 years.  I think that finding something you know more about than other people and buiding on that knowlege helps you to build a steady readership.  Good luck!

I have 7000 views from 19 hubs for 5 months. Joined 21 months ago, but for 1 year wrote only 1 hub (sorry for that). Unfortunately, most of the views are before HubPages and Google updates. So, now I have between 25 to 100 views a day.

    Am I doing well...?!
