Do you find you intentionally don't put your forum thread in it's proper category?

I have found that if I categorize my forum thread as it should be  (example, food), it is less likely to be seen and answered. However, if I post it in the free-form thread, it gains more of a response. Has any one else had similar discoveries?

I have notice the same thing.  Although most of my questions are either about HubPage site logistics or curiosity about what other Hubbers in our Community think.

Well, being organized is my perspective. In case if I am confused and don't find the exact category for my article then I would select the main category and shall not dig down for sub categories.

Yes, I do this sometimes because I can't seem to understand or find the most suitable category for my forum post.
